Catching Z's: The Millennials Guide to Mindfulness

Oct 16, 2017

The elements of cooking require you to tap into all of your senses and summon a keen sense of awareness (don't burn the meatloaf!).  We were thrilled to have a conversation with Julie Ohana who is the founder of Culinary Art Therapy.  She talks to us about her passion of bringing together her social work background with her love of cooking.  We dive into what Culinary Art Therapy was and how she was at the forefront of this new form of therapy.  We talk to her about the therapeutic effects of cooking, her memories of having family meals as a child, and how she is passing along this tradition to her family.  She shares a very cool culinary art therapy meditation at the end that is sure to bring a smile to your face!
