Catching Z's: The Millennials Guide to Mindfulness

Nov 6, 2017

The practice of Shinrin Yoku (or forest bathing) originated in Japan, but has made its way over to the US more recently.  One of the first people to be trained in this form of relaxation and therapy is Ben Page.  He shares with us his journey into his love of nature and how Walden Pond played a big role in that in his early years.  He speaks about the benefits that going into the forest can bring to someone, and how to bring the forest to you if its not readily accessible.  We talk about how he began his own company, Shinrin Yoku LA.  Ben speaks in such an engaging way and you can tell nature has taught him a thing or two about how to connect with yourself and with the unity of all beings.
